I am Hanson, cinephile and rock n roller. Like a good film, drama, in my opinion, is like a battlefield ——— a place where love, death, anger, and sadness happen all at once.

 

Like a good rock n roll concert, the stage is for actors to free their bodies, which every muscle movement counts as a segment of the bigger picture, the story.

 

I love films, drama, and rock music is because the most beautiful and touching thing about them happens not on screen or on stage, but in the audience who can actually let the artwork itself live a second or infinite life, because the intimacy between the fiction and the nonfiction; the fake and the real; imagination and reality gives birth to the uniqueness of, for a lack of a better word, storytelling, which exists in songs, films, plays, and everywhere in life —— fabricated but still earnest.
